X, alternatively known as X: The Man With the X-Ray Eyes is a 1963 science fiction/horror film directed by low-budget movie mogul Roger Corman. It was released theatrically in the United States on September 18th, 1963. The premise of the film revolves around Professor James Xavier, a world renowned scientist who develops a process that gives people enhanced ocular ability, including the ability to perceive images through solid objects. When Xavier loses his project funding, he tests the process on himself and becomes "The Man With the X-Ray Eyes".
