William Forsythe is an American actor born in Brooklyn, New York on June 7th, 1955. He is best known for starring in crime dramas. One of his first genre rolls was playing the part of Sheriff John Quincy Wydell in the 2005 film The Devil's Rejects. To prepare him for the role of Wydell, director Rob Zombie, suggested channeling the personalities of iconic "tough guy" characters such as Lee Marvin and Robert Shaw. That same year, Forsythe played the role of Tom Reed in the Sci-Fi channel original picture Hammerhead: Shark Frenzy. He also appeared in the 2007 Masters of Horror episode "We All Scream for Ice Cream", playing a character named Buster. Also in 2007, Forsythe reunited with Rob Zombie to play the role of Ronnie White, the abusive stepfather of young Michael Myers in Zombie's remake of Halloween. Forsythe's character was the husband/lover of Deborah Myers, played by Sheri Moon Zombie, who also played opposite of Forsythe in the role of Baby Firefly in The Devil's Rejects.
