Victor J. Faden is a fictional axe murderer and a supporting character in the Friday the 13th film franchise. Played by actor Mark Venturini, he appeared in the fifth installment in the series, Friday the 13th: A New Beginning.
Overview
Victor J. Faden was a mentally disturbed individual who lived at the Pinehurst Development Youth Center. He had severe anger management issues and hated living at the facility. While chopping wood, Victor was approached by Joey who offered to help, but Victor told him to get lost. After Joey made a comment after being snubbed, Victor flew into a rage and hacked Joey to death with an axe. He was subsequently arrested. [1]

- The character of Victor J. Faden was created by director Danny Steinmann and writers Martin Kitrosser and David Cohen.
- Victor J. Faden was intended as a possible suspect for the murders that take place following the death of Joey. The end of the movie reveals that the murders were actually committed by Roy Burns, Joey's father.
- Victor J. Faden's name can be seen written on the wall of the outhouse where Demon is killed.
- Coincidentally, Victor J. Faden is the one character in the movie (aside from Reggie, Tommy and Pam) that Roy Burns doesn't kill, even though Victor's actions are what prompts Roy into a homicidal rage to begin with.
- Actor Mark Venturini is also known for playing punk rocker zombie victim Suicide in Dan O'Bannon's horror comedy The Return of the Living Dead. This film was released the same year as Friday the 13th: A New Beginning, but five months later.
- Sadly, actor Mark Venturini passed away from Leukemia on February 14th, 1996 at the age of 35.
