Notes & Trivia

  • The Skull was originally issued an X rating, which was common for British horror films with mature content during the 1960s. In modern cinema, an X-rating is typically only given to pornographic films. The MPAA may still issue an x-rating to some horror films depending upon the levels of gore and violence presented in the film.
