The Return of the Vampire is an American horror movie of the vampire subgenre. It was directed by Lew Landers with a script written by Griffin Jay based on a story treatment by Kurt Neumann. Additional dialogue was provided by Randall Faye. The movie was produced by Columbia Pictures and released theatrically in the United States on January 1st, 1944. The movie is notable for starring iconic horror actor Bela Lugosi in the role of Armand Tesla.
