Season Thirteen of the paranormal horror series Supernatural aired on the CW Network beginning on October 12th, 2017. The season aired on Thursday evenings for a full twenty-two episode run. Thirteen appears to be the lucky number for Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, as they continue to find themselves amongst the ranks of the gainfully employed. Misha Collins ain't exactly sitting in any bread lines either as he returns for sixth season as a main cast member. Mark Pellegrino also makes his return in the role of Lucifer and season twelve guest star Alexander Calvert becomes a series regular beginning with this season as Jack. Departing from the show this season is Mark Sheppard, who played Crowley from seasons 5-12.
