Super Sav-a-Bunch is a fictional business featured in the HBO television series True Blood. It was first introduced in the series' pilot episode "Strange Love".

Description Edit

Super Sav-a-Bunch is a retail outlet specializing in home improvement products and services, similar in purpose to more familiar nation-wide outlets such as Home Depot and Lowe's. A woman named Tara Thornton briefly worked as a greeter at a Super Sav-a-Bunch outlet in Bon Temps, Louisiana. Tara had been going through a dark period in her life during the time she worked there, and was even more irritible and prone to fits of anger than normal. A woman came into the store inquiring about a particular kind of freezer curtain, but was unsure of exactly what she wanted. Tara had little patience for the woman's apparent ineptitude and made her opinion of her, her needs and even her wardrobe plainly clear. The woman, naturally upset with her, asked to speak with Tara's manager. Tara screamed for her boss, Waylon, but stated that she would quit before allowing the woman the chance to have her fired. She slapped her boss across the face, quit her job and stormed out of the building. Shortly thereafter, she found work as a bartender at Merlotte's Bar and Grill.
