1st Horror: When a Killer Calls (2006)

Steve Bevilacqua is a film and television screenwriter and producer. Most of his work has been for the independent movie house The Asylum, which specializes in "mockbusters" - films aimed at capitalizing upon the popularity of big budget theatrically released fare. His first work in the horror genre was the 2006 film When a Killer Calls, which is a knock-off of the remake of When a Stranger Calls. That same year, Steve wrote the script for Hillside Cannibals, which was another pastiche of a well-known remake, The Hills Have Eyes. In 2007, Steve wrote the screenplay for Supercroc.
