Sorority Row is an American horror film of the slasher subgenre. It was directed by Stewart Hendler based on a script written by Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger. It was produced by Karz Entertainment and Summit Entertainment and released theatrically on September 11th, 2009. The movie is a remake of the 1983 horror film The House on Sorority Row, directed by Mark Rosman. The premise of the film involves a group of sorority sisters at a college who play a prank on one of their pledges, only to have it go horribly wrong. While attempting to cover up the death of their friend, they suddenly find themselves being stalked by a maniacal killer.
