Sleepstalker is an American horror film that was released direct-to-video on April 25th, 1995. It was written and directed by Turi Meyer and produced by the Prism Entertainment Corporation and Smart Egg Pictures. The premise of the film centers on a convicted serial killer known only as the Sandman, who is finally captured and sentenced for his crimes, but on the day of his execution, a voodoo priest enters the cell block and conducts a ritual that transforms the killer into a literal sand man. Armed with strange new abilities, the Sandman seeks to kill the last remaining member of his family.
