Sleepstalker is an American horror film that was released direct-to-video on April 25th, 1995. It was written and directed by Turi Meyer and produced by the Prism Entertainment Corporation and Smart Egg Pictures. The premise of the film centers on a convicted serial killer known only as the Sandman, who is finally captured and sentenced for his crimes, but on the day of his execution, a voodoo priest enters the cell block and conducts a ritual that transforms the killer into a literal sand man. Armed with strange new abilities, the Sandman seeks to kill the last remaining member of his family.

Notes & Trivia
- This film marks the directorial debut of Turi Meyer. Turi will go on to direct Candyman: Day of the Dead in 1996 as well as episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and The Vampire Diaries.
- Viewers who grew up during the 1970s and 80s may recognize actor Marc McClure, who plays a father in this film. Marc played the role of cub reporter Jimmy Olsen in all four Superman films as well as the Supergirl spin-off film.
- The plot device of deaht row prisoners being reborn in a new body has been done in several instances. Some examples include the "Witch" episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the "Valhalley of the Dolls" episode of Charmed and the "Song of the Raven" episode of Poltergeist: The Legacy.
