Slash is a horror film of the slasher/comedy subgenres. It was directed by Neal Sundström and written by Stephen Ronald Francis, Gus Silber and Charles Sapadin. It was produced by New Africa Media Films, Rapidphase and Wild Coast Film Pty. Ltd and released in the Netherlands on July 18th, 2002. It premiered on home video in the United States on August 26th, 2003. Slash stars James O'Shea as Mac, the lead singer of a rock and roll band called Slash who learns that his aunt has passed away and he must return to the home he grew up at to attend the funeral. The group's tour bus breaks down at the family farm and they quickly discover that a serial killer is on the loose collecting blood.
