Shawn Ashmore is a Canadian film and television actor. He was born in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada on October 7th, 1979. His first work in the horror genre was playing a bully named Beau in the 2001 film Wolf Girl. Ashmore's scene was particularly notable when it was revealed that his character had a deformed and uncommonly small penis. In 2008, Shawn played a character named Eric in the thriller The Ruins. He followed this up with two films in 2010, both of which were directed by Adam Green. The first was the psycho-thriller Frozen, in which Shawn played one of the three main characters, Joe Lynch. He also appeared in Green's Hatchet II] where he made a brief uncredited appearance as a fisherman.
