Seth Holt, born James Holt was an Israeli-born British film director born in 1923. His first work in the horror genre was the 1961 film Scream of Fear for Hammer Film Productions. His final film work was 1971's Blood from the Mummy's Tomb. He had a heart attack on the set of the film and died in actor Aubrey Morris's arms five weeks into shooting. Holt passed away at Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire, England on February 14th at the age of 47. Producer Michael Carreras finished shooting the movie after Holt died.
