Rise of the Zombies is an American low-budget horror film of the zombie apocalypse subgenre. The film was directed by Nick Lyon with a screenplay written by Keith Allan and Delondra Williams. It was produced by The Asylum and premiered as a Syfy Pictures Original films feature on October 27th, 2012. The film stars Ethan Suplee as Marshall, Mariel Hemingway as Lynn Snyder, LeVar Burton as Doctor Dan Halpern, Danny Trejo as Captain Caspian, Heather Hemmens as Ashley, French Stewart as Doctor Arnold, Chad Lindberg as Kyle, Madonna Magee as Vivian, and Andy Clemence as Bob.
