Robert Wright Campbell was an American film screenwriter. He was born in Newark, New Jersey on June 9th, 1927. His only work in the horror genre was co-writing the screenplay for Roger Corman's 1964 adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's The Masque of the Red Death along with Charles Beaumont. R. Wright Campbell passed away on September 1st, 2000 in Monterey, California at the age of 73.
