Prom Night II, also known as Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II, is an independent Canadian horror film combining elements of the slasher, ghost and supernatural thriller subgenres. It is the first sequel in the Prom Night film series and follows the 1980 inaugurel film, Prom Night. The film was directed by Bruce Pittman with a script written by Ron Oliver. It was produced by Simcom Limited and The Samuel Goldwyn Company and released theatrically in the United States on November 13th, 1987. The film stars Lisa Schrage as the supernatural antagonist, Mary Lou Maloney with Michael Ironside taking on the role of the male lead, Bill Nordham.
