Planet Terror is an American action/horror movie of the zombie/exploitation subgenre. It was written and directed by Robert Rodriguez and is the second of two films produced by Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino billed under the "Grindhouse" double feature; the first being Tarantino's Death Proof starring The Thing star Kurt Russell. The movie premiered in the United States on April 6th, 2007 and stars Rose McGowan, Bruce Willis, Josh Brolin, Jeff Fahey, Marley Shelton and Michael Biehn. After an experimental bio-weapon is released, turning thousands into zombie-like creatures, it's up to a rag-tag group of survivors to stop the infected and those behind its release.
