Peter Scheerer is a horror film writer, producer and director who frequently works with partner Michael Roesch. Scheeerer first worked as a camera operator on the 2003 Uwe Boll film House of the Dead. He reunited with Boll as associate producer for the 2005 film BloodRayne. Both House of the Dead and BloodRayne were based on popular video games. In keeping with video-game based films, Scheerer was co-writer on Alone in the Dark, House of the Dead 2 and Alone in the Dark II. In 2007, Scheerer and Roesch wrote and directed the vampire thriller Brotherhood of Blood.
