Paul Michael was an American film and television actor. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island on August 15th, 1926. He played the role of Gypsy king, Johnny Romano on episodes of the 1960s daytime television series Dark Shadows. He appeared in a storyline commonly referred to as the "1897 Flashback" and made five appearances on the show.

In 1970, Paul Michael was one of many Dark Shadows alumni to make an appearance in the feature film House of Dark Shadows. He played a fisherman that came to Jeff Clark's art studio to deliver him a message (presumably from Roger Collins and Professor Stokes).
