Paul Giovanni was a film score composer, song writer and performer born in 1933. He is best known for composing the score to the 1973 cult film The Wicker Man, directed by Robin Hardy. In addition to the soundtrack, Giovanni also wrote and performed the songs "Corn Rigs", "Gently Johnny" and Sumer is Icumen In", which are featured in this film. Giovanni made a cameo appearance in the movie as well playing (appropriately enough) a musician.

Paul Giovanni's song "How Do" was featured in the 2005 film Hostel by Eli Roth.

Paul Giovanni passed away in New York City, New York on June 17th, 1990 at the age of 56.
