Neon Maniacs is an American independent horror film of the monster and teen-slaughter subgenres. It was directed by Joseph Mangine with a script written by Mark Patrick Carducci. The movie was produced by Cimarron Productions and Kelly Park Associates and premiered on November 14th, 1986.

Plot Edit

Same old story. Bunch of jackass teenagers want to go out and party so they go out to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. They could never have suspected that living beneath the bridge was a horde of zombie-like creatures eager to kill them all. Just another fun night in good ole San Fran.

  • This film is alternatively known as Evil Dead Warriors (which also redirects to this page).
  • This is Joseph Mangine's second film as a director and his first horror film. He previously directed the 1968 hippie movie Smoke and Flesh. Directing is not Mangine's primary work in the industry however. He is largely a director of photography who has worked on movies such as Alligator II: The Mutation and the TV shows such as Swamp Thing.
  • Actor Clyde Hayes, who plays Steven, is credited as Alan Hayes in this film.
  • Actor Victor Brandt, who plays Devin, is credited as Victor Elliot Brandt in this film.
  • Actress Amber Denyse Austin, who plays Lisa, is credited as Amber Austin in this film.
  • Actor James Acheson, who plays Ray, is credited as James Atcheson in this film.
  • Actor John Lafayette, who plays Thomas, is credited as John LaFayette in this film.
  • Actor Andrew Divoff, who plays Doc in this film, is best known for playing the evil Djinn in the first two installments of the Wishmaster film series. This is his first work in a horror film.
