Herbert Neil Travis was a film editor born in Los Angeles, California on October 12th, 1936. He has worked on more than forty films during his career and several television projects. He edited three movies in the horror genre, beginning with the 1977 abominable snowman feature, Snowbeast. In 1978, he tackled the cutting on Jaws 2 and in 1983, he went to work on another predatory animal feature, Cujo. Neil Travis passed away in Arroyo Grande, California on March 28th, 2012 at the age of 75.
