Neil LaBute is an American film director and screenwriter born in Detroit, Michigan on March 19th, 1963. He directed the 2006 witchcraft thriller The Wicker Man starring Nicholas Cage. The film was a remake of Robin Hardy's 1973 thriller The Wicker Man.
