"The Face" is the first episode of season two of the American horror anthology series Monsters and the twenty-fifth episode of the series overall. It was directed by Allen Coulter and written by Benjamin Carr. The episode stars Imogene Coca, Gregory Grove and Gary Roberts. It first aired in syndication on Sunday, October 1st, 1989. Subsequent airings were broadcast on the Sci-Fi Channel and on Chiller. In this episode, two brothers break into an old woman's house to rob her, but wind up killing her. However, she bites one of them, leaving him with a nasty scar to remember her by.

- This is the second and final episode of Monsters directed by Allen Coulter. He previously directed the season one episode, "All In a Day's Work". He also directed the "Hush" episode of Tales from the Darkside.
- This is the second episode of Monsters written by Benjamin Carr. He also wrote the season one episode, "The Feverman". His next episode is "Stressed Environment". Benjamin is credited under the name Neal Stevens in this episode.
