Michael Roesch is a horror film writer, producer and director who frequently works with partner Peter Scheerer. Roesch first worked as co-executive producer on the 2003 Uwe Boll film House of the Dead. He reunited with Boll as associate producer for the 2005 film BloodRayne. Both House of the Dead and BloodRayne were based on popular video games. In keeping with video-game based films, Roesch was co-writer on Alone in the Dark and Alone in the Dark II. In 2007, Roesch and Scheerer wrote and directed the vampire thriller Brotherhood of Blood.
