Max Landis is an American film screenwriter born in Los Angeles, California on August 3rd, 1985. He is the son of famous Hollywood director John Landis, best known for his 1981 horror classic, An American Werewolf in London. Max made his screenwriting debut with the 2005 episode of Masters of Horror entitled "Deer Woman", which he co-wrote with his father. In 2009, Max wrote the script for the "Something With Bite" episode of the NBC anthology series Fear Itself.
