Matthew Hastings is an American filmmaker born in Rockville Center, New York on October 21st, 1967. His first work in the horror genre was writing the "Feeding Frenzy" episode of the TV series Vampire High. In 2004, he wrote and directed the sci-fi/comedy Decoys, where he was credited under the name Matt Hastings. In 2005, Matthew wrote and directed the horror-themed action film Vampire Wars: Battle for the Universe, which was also released under the title Bloodsuckers.
