"Pelts" is the sixth episode of season two of the horror anthology series Masters of Horror and the nineteenth episode in the series overall. It was directed by famed Italian giallo director Dario Argento and was written by Matt Venne based on a short story by F. Paul Wilson. The episode first aired on Showtime on Friday, December 1st, 2006. The episode stars rock star actor Meat Loaf Aday as fur trader Jake Feldman and also features A Nightmare on Elm Street and Black Christmas star John Saxon as Jeb "Pa" Jameson. Other actors featured in this episode include Link Baker, Emilio Salituro, Elise Lew, Shawn Hall, Sylvesta Stuart and Ellen Ewusie.

  • Angela Case, Ildiko Ferenczi and Angela Fong are all uncredited in this episode.
  • Meat Loaf Aday, often credited only as Meat Loaf, is a rock and roll performer and actor more widely known for songs like "Bat Out of Hell", "Paradise By the Dashboard Light" and "I Would Do Anything for Love...". He also played a motorcycle riding delivery boy in the 1975 rock opera The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
