Luana Margo Anderson was an American film and television actress born in New York City, New York on May 12th, 1938. Under the stage name Luana Anders, she appeared in the 1961 Roger Corman horror film The Pit and the Pendulum playing the role of Catherine Medina. In 1963, she starred as Louise Halloran in Francis Ford Coppola's psycho-thriller Dementia 13. She later went on to portray the role of Ginger in the 1993 movie Doppelganger.
Luana Anders passed away in Mar Vista, California on July 21st, 1996 at the age of 58.

- Francis Ford Coppola was assisting Roger Corman on the set of The Young Racers in Ireland. Corman allowed Coppola to use the same set, crew and actors Luana Anders, William Campbell and Patrick Magee for his film if he could shoot around the shooting schedule of Corman's film.
