Lucien LaCroix is a fictional character and a important figure in the 1992-1996 USA Network television series Forever Knight. The character first appeared however in a 1989 pilot movie called Nick Knight where he was played by actor Michael Nader. The pilot was optioned to CBS to become a regularly series, but CBS turned it down. Three years later, the USA Network re-envisioned the concept, relocating the setting from Los Angeles, California to Toronto, Canada and recast the role of Lucien LaCroix with British actor Nigel Bennett. Bennett's version of Lucien LaCroix appeared in sixty-one episodes of the series.
