King Kong is an American feature film of the adventure and horror genres. It is a remake of the original 1933 classic, King Kong. The movie was directed by John Guillermin with a script written by Lorenzo Semple, Jr. based on concepts developed by Merian C. Cooper and Edgar Wallace. It was produced by Paramount Pictures and the De Laurentiis Entertainment Group and released theatrically in the United State son December 17th, 1976.
