Kevin J. Anderson is an American science fiction author born in Racine, Wisconsin on March 27th, 1962. He has written spin-off novels for Star Wars, StarCraft, Titan A.E., and The X-Files, and with Brian Herbert is the co-author of the Dune prequels. His original works include the Saga of Seven Suns series and the Nebula Award-nominated Assemblers of Infinity. He has also written several comic books including the Dark Horse Star Wars collection Tales of the Jedi written in collaboration with Tom Veitch, Predator titles (also for Dark Horse), and X-Files titles for Topps. 
In 2005, Kevin J. Anderson collaborated with noted horror fiction author Dean Koontz to write the first in Koontz's line of Frankenstein titles. Anderson co-wrote the first book in the series, Frankenstein: Prodigal Son with Koontz in 2005. The movie was released in conjunction with a 2004 Frankenstein television pilot movie starring Parker Posey and Vincent Perez.
