Josephine Hutchinson was a film and television actress. She was born in Seattle, Washington on October 12th, 1903. In horror fiction, Josephine is best known for playing the role of Elsa von Frankenstein in the 1939 Rowland V. Lee film Son of Frankenstein. Like most leading ladies in horror at the time, Jospehine's character contributed little more than fretting about whatever was frustrating her husband Doctor Frankenstein so much and occasionally belting out a scream of fright.
Josephine Hutchinson passed away in New York City, New York on June 4th, 1998 at the age of 94.
