John Guillerman is a British film director born in London, England on November 11th, 1925. Guillermin directed two notable works for the science fiction/horror genres. In 1976 he directed the first remake of Merian C. Cooper's 1933 classic King Kong. He followed this up in 1986 with it's sequel, King Kong Lives, which proved to be a box-office bomb.
