Biography[]
John Custer was a preacher who operated out of Annville, Texas in the 1980s. He owned a patch of land on which he built the All Saints Congregational church. John Custer had a young son, Jesse Custer. For a brief period of time, John took in an orphan girl named Tulip O'Hare. He eventually handed Tulip over to child services.
John Custer visited Odin Quincannon shortly after discovering that Odin's entire family had been killed in a ski-lift accident in Colorado. John tried to keep him calm with words of spiritual encouragement, but Quincannon denounced God in front of him. [1]
John Custer was shot and killed in front of the eyes of his own son. Before the gun went off, he told his son not to cry. "Custer's don't cry", he repeated, and then the gun went off. [2][3]
