John Badham, born Charles John Smith, is an American filmmaker born in Luton, Bedfordshire, England on August 25th, 1939. He directed the 1979 film version of Dracula starring Frank Langella, which loosely adapted the original 1897 novel Dracula by Irish author Bram Stoker.
