Imhotep is a fictional Egyptian priest and undead Mummy featured in the "Universal Monsters" film series. He is the eponymous antagonist from the 1932 film, The Mummy. Although there have been six films in Universal's original Mummy series, only the first movie features the character of Imhotep. Imhotep was played by actor Boris Karloff.
