Howard Gordon is a television consulting producer and teleplay writer. He has worked on both of Joss Whedon's supernaturally-themed television programs, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and it's spin-off series Angel. He was credited as consulting producer on thirteen episodes from season two of Buffy and he wrote the scripts for one episode, "What's My Line? (Part 1)". On Angel, he worked as consulting producer on the first sixteen episodes of season one and wrote or co-wrote the episodes "Hero", "Expecting" and "The Ring".
