Gargantua is an American television movie of the science fiction and horror genres. It was directed by Bradford May with a script written by Ronald Parker. It was produced by Fox Television Studios and premiered on the FOX Network on May 19th, 1998. The film stars Adam Baldwin as Jack Ellway - a marine biologist who travels to the Polynesian Island of Malau with his son Brandon Ellway to investigate a bizarre series of seismic disturbances. Aided by a local named Doctor Alyson Hart, Jack Ellway and his son discover a series of unsolved drowning cases, which are linked to a race of mysterious sea creatures.
