Additional slashed scenes Edit
- The first additional scene is an alternate sequence of Jason Voorhees' confrontation with Donnie the farmhand. In the theatrical release, Jason slashed Donnie's throat with a machete then found a hockey mask lying on the floor in a pile of debris. In the alternate scene, Donnie is wearing the hockey mask when he first encounters Jason. Jason decapitates him then pulls the hockey mask off of Donnie's severed head and puts it on.
- The second scene is a deleted sequence which takes place at the Sheriff's office. It shows Officer Lund receiving a 911 call from Clay Miller about an emergency at the Sutton residence. This is the only scene in the film that features the character of Officer Lund. It is also the only scene that establishes the date of Friday the 13th. The date of Friday, June 13th is seen on a wall-mounted tear-away calendar above Officer Lund's death. This scene also establishes that Sutton is the surname of Trent, a spoiled rich kid who is killed by Jason later in the film.
- The third cut is an extended sequence of Clay and Whitney's confrontation with Jason at the barn.
