Deputy Winslow 002
Deputy Winslow worked out of Crystal Lake Township in Wessex County, New Jersey in the early 1980s. In the summer of 1984, Deputy Winslow was patrolling the restricted areas surrounding Camp Crystal Lake. This side of the lake had been shut down to visitors ever since the 1979 massacre of seven camp counselors at the hands of the mad revenge-driven Pamela Voorhees. Winslow caught two young counselor trainees named Jeff and Sandra from nearby Packanack Lodge sneaking about within the restricted parts of Camp Crystal Lake and escorted back them to their boss, Paul Holt, at Packanack Lodge. He warned Holt that Camp Crystal Lake was condemned and that he was going to have to keep his people away from there or else he would have to arrest them. He further threatened to get a warrant against Holt as well. He told him that things in that area have been quiet and that is just the way they want to keep it. When Paul dismissed Jeff and Sandra from his office, Deputy Winslow scoffed, surprised that Holt did not appear as if he was even going to reprimand them. Irritated by the acerbic law-enforcement officer, Paul sarcastically told Ginny that Jeff and Sandra were not to have any seconds for desert that evening. This only agitated Winslow much to Holt's delight. While driving back along Old North Road, Deputy Winslow spied a strange masked figure lumbering across the street into the restricted areas. This was Jason Voorhees - the surviving son of Pamela Voorhees. Winslow stopped his car and pursued Voorhees into the woods. Although he doggedly kept after Voorhees, he could not keep up with him and quickly lost sight of his quarry. Running deeper into the forest, he eventually came upon Jason's ramshackle cabin home in the middle of the dense woods. He went inside and surveyed the dirt and cluttered debris. He found his way to an anterior chamber, which contained a shrine that Voorhees had erected to his mother, which included her rotting severed head encircled by candles. As Winslow recoiled in shock, Jason came up behind and drove the claw end of a hammer into the back of his skull, killing him. Jason left Deputy Winslow's corpse inside the room next to the table with his mother's head. It was later joined by the bodies of several more victims. (Friday the 13th Part 2)

Jason Voorhees 002
Jason Voorhees was a demented serial killer who lived in the wilderness surrounding Camp Crystal Lake. Legend has it that Jason drowned in the lake in 1956, but somehow survived, living alone in the woods for many years. After seeing his mother decapitated by a young camp counselor in 1979, Jason took his revenge; a revenge that evolved into a string of mass murderers against anyone who dared to intrude upon his territory. When Jason was killed by young Tommy Jarvis, everyone thought the nightmare was over. A few years later however, a lightning bolt struck Voorhees' corpse, reanimating him as an undead, psychotic killer. More powerful than ever, Jason continued his violent rampage, eventually amassing a body count that numbered in the hundreds.

Very little is known about this individual save for rumors that he was a 17th century warlock from Salem, Massachusetts. (Jason X: Death Moon)

As punishment, Holt had Jeff and Sandra stay behind while the other counselors went into town for a "final night out" before the summer season. Jerry was distinguished from his friend by his bright purple Mohawk. En route to the campground, they stopped at the 24 7 Diner in the hopes of getting a ride. Failing that, they proceeded to get to the campground on foot. Their presence caused a bit of controversy when they were caught peeping on co-workers Alisha Jackson and her boyfriend Rico having sex in their cabin. The incident caused Jerry so much excitement and agitation that he urinated himself. Later that evening, Nate and he were resting on a raft in the middle of the lake when they were attacked by Jason Voorhees. Jason stabbed Jerry in the face with a pot roast sticker, killing him instantly. He then beheaded him and left his severed head inside of co-worker Ryan's automobile. After a failed attempt at retrieving the dream suppressant Hypnocil, Lori volunteered to enter the dream world and confront Freddy there and bring him to Earth; after nearly being raped by Freddy and learning he was responsible for the death of her mother as a child, Lori successfully forced him into entering the real world, where he and the reawakened Jason battled at Crystal Lake. Lori blew up the dock the two were fighting on with gasoline and propane, and later decapitated Freddy, whose body fell into the depths of Crystal Lake, along with Jason. Five years later, Lori and Will returned to Camp Crystal Lake to allay Lori's fears that Jason and Freddy might still be alive. Muffin
Muffin - Friday the 13th Part 2
Muffin is a Shih Tzu that belonged to a camp counselor named Terry. In 1984, Terry went to work for Paul Holt at Packanack Lodge, which was adjacent to the more infamous Camp Crystal Lake. Despite warnings of being in bear country, Terry let Muffin walk about on her own without a leash. Another counselor named Scott, who had a crush on Terry, tried to get in her good graces by "dancing" with Muffin as a segue towards putting the moves on Terry, but she shot him down. Ultimately, Muffin took off and went missing. While traipsing through the woods, Muffin came upon legendary serial killer Jason Voorhees. Two other counselors, Jeff and Sandra went exploring over by Crystal Lake and found the massacred remains of a dog. They weren't sure if it was Muffin or not, but were concerned about telling Terry. They decided to keep the information to themselves. That evening, while the other counselors took off for one last night of fun before the work season, Terry elected to stay behind to look for Muffin. Unfortunately for her, what she found instead was Jason Voorhees, who murdered her and brought her back to his cabin in the woods. Muffin turned up later, alive and well, at the cabin of Terry's co-worker, Ginny Field. What became of Muffin following the death of her owner is unknown. (Friday the 13th Part 2)

Pamela Voorhees 001
Pamela Voorhees was the wife of Elias Voorhees and the mother of Jason Voorhees. Following the 1956 drowning accident that resulted in the apparent death of her son, Pamela went insane and became obsessed with seeking revenge against anything and anyone associated with Camp Crystal Lake - the place where her son had "died". In 1958, she murdered two camp counselors named Barry and Claudette and Camp Crystal Lake was closed soon after. In 1979, when Steve Christy attempted to re-open the camp, Pamela went on a rampage, killing seven people including Steve Christy. One of the camp counselors, Alice Hardy, ended Pamela's spree by beheading her with a machete on the shore of the lake. Her son Jason, who was actually still alive, witnessed his mother's murder and kept her head, using it as the centerpiece of a shrine he erected in her honor. (Friday the 13th (1980))

Holt was romantically linked to one of his staff members, Ginny Field, though he tried to be discrete about their relationship in front of his employees. On their first night as a group, Holt regaled his charges with the legend of Jason Voorhees, but reminded them that the closed down section of the camp was off-limits. Despite this, two of his counselors, Jeff and Sandra, disobeyed orders and were caught snooping around the old campground. As punishment, Paul made Jeff and Sandra stay behind at the site while the rest of the group enjoyed one final night on the town before the summer season. When Jason Voorhees began stalking Ginny Field, Paul came to her rescue and fought against him. Jason eventually got the upper hand however and brutalized Holt, likely killing him. Paul's remains were never discovered and his final fate remains unclear. (Friday the 13th Part 2)
