Sara witnessing her sister die
Sara was lost in the forest with her sister Gina a week ago before encountering the murderous Sawyer family. Gina was later captured and killed by Leatherface and Sara witnessed her murder. While watching Leatherface flaying Gina's face, she made a noise which alarmed Leatherface and she fled. She later rescued Benny from being killed by Leatherface by making him follow her and then lost him. Sara reunited with Benny and told him what she has suffered and gave him a lighter. Sara then went alone into the forest, but Leatherface found her and killed her by decapitating her. After being killed, Leatherface chopped her body up and left it to his cousin Alfredo to drag into the bog. Before discarding her head, Alfredo kissed it.
