Matt Venne is a film and television screenwriter specializing in the horror genre. His first work was adapting F. Paul Wilson's short story "Pelts" into a season two episode of Masters of Horror, directed by Dario Argento. In 2007, he wrote the script for White Noise 2: The Light, directed by Patrick Lussier, which was the sequel to the 2005 film White Noise. In 23008, he wrote the teleplay for the "Spooked" episode of the Mick Garris anthology series Fear Itself. He was credited as Matthew Venne for this episode. In 2010, he wrote the screenplay for another sequel, Mirrors 2, which followed the 2008 Kiefer Sutherland film Mirrors. In 2011, he adapted the Stephen King novel Bag of Bones into a film directed by Mick Garris.
