Fear is an American horror film of the psycho-thriller subgenre. It was written and directed by Rockne S. O'Bannon and produced by Vestron Pictures. It premiered in the United States on July 15th, 1990. The film stars former Breakfast Clubber Ally Sheedy as Cayce Bridges - a psychic whose powers of remote viewing enable her to perceive murders taking place elsewhere as they are being committed. Cayce's powers put her at odds with a dark Shadow Man (played by The Walking Dead and True Blood actor Pruitt Taylor Vince), whose own mysterious abilities rivals her own.
