FDR: American Badass is an American independent film of the action and comedy genres, that incorporates elements of the horror genre in the form of werewolf lore. It was directed by Garrett Brawith with a script written by Ross Patterson. It was produced by A Common Thread and Street Justice Films and premiered on September 24th, 2012. The movie stars Barry Bostwick as U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt with Lin Shaye as his wife, Eleanor Roosevelt. Ray Wise plays the role of Douglas MacArthur with Bruce McGill as Louis. Former Hercules & Andromeda star Kevin Sorbo has a brief appearance in the film as Abraham Lincoln. The basic premise of the movie involves werewolves who have taken control of the Third Reich during World War II, and it is up to President Roosevelt to put a stop to the hirsute Nazis - at any cost.
