Ernesto is a fictional vampire and a minor character featured in the WB Network television series Angel. He was played by actor Elimu Nelson and appeared in the 21st episode of season five, "Power Play".
Ernesto was a vampire and the aide to California state senator, Helen Brucker. Ernesto was aware of Brucker's true heritage as a demon as well as a member of the Circle of the Black Thorn. In 2004, the senator and Ernesto approached the law offices of Wolfram & Hart to hire them for a very specific purpose. Receptionist Harmony Kendall denied Ernesto a refreshment of human blood, but her boss Angel made an exception. Ernesto was present at the meeting between Senator Brucker, Angel and Charles Gunn when Brucker asked the firm to brainwash a political rival named Mike Conley into believing he was a pedophile, thus ruining his career.
