Edith Myers is a fictional housewife and a minor character featured in the Halloween film series. She is part of the continuity of the original series and was presented in a behind-the-scenes cameo appearance in the beginning of the 1978 film, Halloween. Edith was also shown in a photograph in the 2002 film Halloween: Resurrection.
Edith Myers was born Edith Taylor in Russellville, Illinois on December 13th, 1926. She married a man named Donald Myers and moved to the town of Haddonfield to raise a family. She gave birth to three children, Judith Myers in 1947, Michael Myers in 1957, and Cynthia Myers in 1961.
In 1965, Donald and Edith Myers were killed in an automobile accident. By this point, Judith Myers had been dead for more than three years and her killer, her own brother Michael, had been committed to Smith's Grove Sanitarium. Cynthia Myers was adopted by Morgan and Pamela Strode following the deaths of her birth parents.

- The character of Edith Myers was created by director and screenwriter John Carpenter.
- As the character of Edith Myers has only appeared behind-the-scenes, the actress who portrayed her in Halloween and in the photo in Halloween: Resurrection is unknown.
- In the canon of the original Halloween series, Edith Myers is the grandmother of John Tate. In the apocrypha of the 4th-6th installments, she is the grandmother of Jamie Lloyd and great-grandmother (possibly also grandmother) of Stephen Lloyd.
