  • Production on Dracula II: Ascension began on October 10th, 2001. Principal photography concluded in December, 2001. The movie was shot on location in Bucharest, Rasnov, Zarnesti, and Sibiu, Romania. Some interior scenes of Dracula's imprisonment was filmed at the University of Bucharest.
