Dario Piana is an Italian filmmaker. He was the director and co-producer of the 2010 direct-to-video film Lost Boys: The Thirst. This film was the third installment in the franchise and followed 1987's The Lost Boys as well as the 2008 direct-to-video sequel Lost Boys: The Tribe.

- Dario Piana wrote the screenplays for several Italian television programs and miniseries such as Doppio segreto, Amiche davvero!!, Sospetti, Sospetti 2, Sospetti 3, Vento di ponente, Amanti e segreti and Rosella. He also wrote the screnplay for the 1988 film Sotto il vestito niente 2 which was released in the US as Too Beautiful to Die.
