Damien is an American television series of the supernatural horror genre. It is based on the 1976 occult thriller film The Omen by director Richard Donner and serves as a contemporary sequel to the movie (ignoring all of the sequels). The series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television and began airing on A&E on Monday evenings at 10:00 pm. The series was developed for television by Glen Mazzara based upon characters created by David Seltzer. Damien stars Bradley James in the titular role of everyone's favorite Antichrist, Damien Thorn, as well as Megalyn E.K. as Simone Baptiste, Omid Abtahi as Amani Golkar and Barbara Hershey as Ann Rutledge.
